Quickstart
Your Onboarding Journey to Lisk
A quick map of the 5 stages between signing up and running your business on Lisk day to day.
Each stage below shows the steps you'll take to complete it, what it unlocks, and a few things partners in early testing found useful to know. For the full click-by-click details, follow the linked guide.
👋 Stage 1 → Welcome
Guide: Sign up on Lisk · How do I set up the Lisk mobile app?
Steps
Sign up with your email (or Google/Apple) on web
Create your workspace
Invite your first members (or skip for now and do that later)
Turn on 2FA with an authenticator app
Install the Lisk mobile app and sign in with the same email
Create your passkey (fingerprint, face scan, or device passcode)
🛂 Stage 2 → Verify your business (KYB)
Guide: How do I verify my business (KYB)?
Steps
Gather your company, ownership, and identity documents
Open Verification from the "Verify now" text box at the top of the website, or go to Settings → Verification
Enter your business details and business activity
Add owners, directors, and their identity documents
Upload your company documents
Review the summary and submit
Respond to any follow-up requests from reviewers
⚙️ Stage 3 → Set up your workspace
Guides: How do I invite members to my workspace? · How do I create an account in my workspace? · How do I add a contact?
Steps you can take right away (even while KYB is under review)
Invite your team members and assign roles (Admin or Member)
Set up departments to mirror your org (e.g. Marketing, Operations)
Set up categories for expense tracking
Add key contacts (vendors, suppliers)
Add your crypto withdrawal methods
Steps that need KYB verification first
Configure your bank withdrawal methods
Create an account per department or use case, and set its approvers
💸 Stage 4 → Make your first transfer
Guides: How do I add money to my workspace? · How do I send money? · How do I move money between my own accounts?
Steps
Start by adding money to your workspace (a deposit); see How do I add money to my workspace?
Once funded, pick your next workflow: paying someone or moving money between your own accounts
Add the recipient in Contacts if you haven't already (bank details or wallet address)
Initiate the transfer, attaching an invoice if you want it reconciled
Sign the transaction on your phone — if the account has more than one approver configured, the transfer needs enough signatures to meet that account's approval quorum before it goes through
🔁 Stage 5 → Ongoing use
Once Stages 1-4 are done, there's no more setup left - this is simply what using Lisk day-to-day looks like:
Move money as needed: make further internal transfers between your own accounts, or send external payments to new contacts
Stay on top of activity: monitor transactions, approvals, and the audit log
Approve on the go: sign approvals as they come in on mobile
Keep your workspace current: add new contacts as relationships grow, and adjust accounts or approvers as your team evolves
