# Invite Members

Inviting members lets your coworkers join your workspace so they can view accounts, be added as approvers, and help manage transactions. You invite people by email, and they get access once they accept and finish setting up their account.

### Before you start

* You need permission to invite members. This is available to workspace **Admins** and the **Owner**. If you don't see an **Invite** button, ask an admin to send the invitations.
* Have the email addresses of the people you want to invite ready.

### Steps

1. Click the workspace on the top left (, or your **avatar** in the top right corner), then select **Settings**.
2. In the Settings sidebar, under **Workspace**, select **Members**.
3. Click **Invite**.
4. In the **Invite new members** dialog, type an **Email address** and click **Add**.
5. Repeat step 4 to add as many people as you need - each added email appears in a list below, and you can remove any before sending.
6. Click the invite button (it shows how many people you're inviting, for example **Invite 3 people**).

### What to expect

Each person receives an email invitation to join the workspace. You can track who hasn't accepted yet on the **Invited** tab of the Members page.

New members join with the standard member level of access. To give someone more access or assign them to specific accounts, manage their role and account assignments from the Members list after they've joined.

### Troubleshooting

* **I don't see the Invite button or the Members page** → Inviting members is limited to admins and the owner. Ask an admin to send the invitation.
* **"This email has already been added"** → That address is already in the list of people you're about to invite. Check the list below the field.
* **The invite won't send / the email looks wrong** → Make sure each address is a valid email. You need at least one valid address added to the list before you can send.
* **Someone hasn't received their invite** → Check the **Invited** tab to confirm the invitation was sent, and ask them to check their spam folder. Alternatively, you can press the three dots on the invite and hit “Resend invite” to resend it.
