Withdraw Funds
How to withdraw funds from your workspace.
Withdrawing moves funds out of a workspace account to a saved withdrawal method - an external bank account or a crypto wallet you've saved. You start the withdrawal on the web, and it's approved and signed in the Lisk mobile app.
Before you start
You need permission to withdraw. If you don't see a Withdraw button, ask an admin.
The account needs enough balance to cover the amount plus the network fee.
You need at least one saved withdrawal method. You can add one during the withdrawal, or manage them in Settings → Withdrawal methods.
Withdrawing to a bank account requires your workspace's business verification to be approved.
Have the Lisk mobile app ready - withdrawals are approved there. You'll need it set up with a passkey and biometrics or a device passcode (Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode) enabled, so you can confirm the approval.
Steps
Open the account you want to withdraw from and click Withdraw.
On the Withdraw form:
From - choose the source account.
To - choose a saved withdrawal method. To add one now, choose Add new withdrawal method and fill in its details.
Rail - if you picked an ACH/wire bank method, choose how the payout is sent.
Amount - enter the amount. You can tap Max to use the full balance. The account balance is shown for reference.
Note - optionally add a short note.
Click Next.
On Confirm withdrawal, review the details. A badge shows how many approvals are required. Click Confirm.
A screen titled Waiting for approval via mobile app appears with a QR code. Scan it with your phone to open the request directly in the Lisk mobile app.
Confirming on the web is only the first step - the withdrawal isn't actually sent until you approve it on your phone.
Approve the withdrawal on your phone
After you confirm on the web, you'll see the Waiting for approval via mobile app screen with a QR code. Scan it with your phone to open the request directly.
On your phone you'll get a push notification that an approval was requested. You can also find it on the Home screen under Pending transactions (tap View all), or in your Notifications.
Tap the request to open the withdrawal details. Review From, To, Amount, the estimated fee, and any Notes.
At the bottom, tap ✓ Approve. (If you'd rather not approve it right now without blocking it for others, tap Skip instead.)
In the Approve transaction sheet, review the details and tap Confirm.
Confirm with your passkey - your phone prompts for Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode.
You'll see Transaction approved. If the account needs more than one approval, it stays pending until enough approvers have signed. Once the required number is reached, you'll see Transaction submitted and the withdrawal is sent.
What to expect
Starting the withdrawal on the web alone doesn't complete the withdrawal - the withdrawal is sent only once it's fully approved in the Lisk mobile app.
If the account requires more than one approver, each other approver repeats the approval steps above in their own Lisk mobile app. Once enough approvals are collected, you'll see Transaction submitted and the withdrawal is sent.
Bank payouts take as long as the banking network needs to process them; crypto payouts usually arrive after the network confirms them. You can follow the status on the Transactions page.
A pending request expires after 72 hours if it isn't fully approved by then. If that happens, just start the withdrawal again.
Troubleshooting
I don't see the Withdraw button → You may not have permission to withdraw. Ask an admin.
"This withdrawal method is inactive" → The method you selected can't be used right now. Choose an active method or add a new one.
My amount won't go through / balance warning → The amount plus the network fee is more than the account's balance. Lower the amount.
I can't withdraw to a bank account → Bank withdrawals require your workspace's business verification to be approved. Ask an admin to check the workspace's verification status.
The withdrawal is still waiting → It needs more approvals in the Lisk mobile app. It completes automatically once the required approvers have approved it.
